WOVEN HISTORIES:
         TEXTILES AND MODERN
         ABSTRACTION

MoMA presents Woven Histories: Textiles and Modern
Abstraction, an expansive exhibition exploring the deep
connections between weaving and abstract art. Featuring
approximately 150 works across diverse mediums, including
textiles, basketry, painting, sculpture, and media, the exhibition
examines how artists over the past century have redefined
         weaving beyond its traditional function.
Previously exhibited at LACMA, the National Gallery of Art in
Washington, DC, and the National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa,
