Notable works on display include a selection of photographs The installation pairs photographs with silent videos and a
captured during the making of Life Dances On, reflecting poem listing environmental toxins in the town’s air. Flint Is
Frank’s deep connection with loved ones such as his daughter Family in Three Acts (2016–20) follows Shea S. Cobb and her
Andrea and close friend Danny Seymour. Many materials, family amid Flint, Michigan’s water crisis, portraying their

Complementing the exhibition, MoMA unveils Robert Frank’s
Scrapbook Footage, an installation showcasing newly digitized
and restored film and video materials, curated by Frank’s
longtime editor Laura Israel and art director Alex Bingham.
Additionally, the Museum will present a full retrospective of
Frank’s films and videos, many newly restored.
Building upon MoMA’s enduring engagement with Frank’s
work, Life Dances On: Robert Frank in Dialogue stands as the
first solo exhibition to fully examine the breadth of his artistic
evolution, reaffirming his status as one of the most restless and
influential visual storytellers of the 20th century
Notion of Family (2001–14) explores the politics of care among
Black women, documenting relationships between Frazier, her
mother, her grandmother, and their connection to Braddock.
