Finally, we intend to encourage and support our artists/authors at conventions, with local retailers, and online, more directly than the publisher can. We will make all books we publish for sale to their artists /authors at our distribution wholesale rate. Hence a book with a retail price of $49.95, a wholesale price of $22.47, would be made for sale to the author for $22.47. This provides enough margin for the authors to profitably become a retailer of their own books, and even the potential for them to act as distributor of said books to retailers they can support in their area.

We can do this because we own our own printing presses and run a quality color print consolidation business. This allows us to print just 1,000 book copies.

That means if a 66 page book sells for $49.95, and the wholesale traditional takes 55% off the retail price, the price is $22.47; the distributors traditional takes 60% of $22.47, that would be $13.47 and the author earning of 40 points gets 40% of $22.47 for each book sold. That would be roughly $9 for each book sold paid to artist. WoA Publishing earning is zero points (0%) for each sold.

If your book sells through the first 1,000 copies we print, assuming it was a 66 page book, then your base payback would be $9000, - more than about what you might expect from a larger publisher these days.

132 page book = $12.5 per book sold.  Retail $69.95
200 page book = $12.3 per book sold.  Retail $79.95
