An organic- and painting-like imprint typical to Carborundum method fits well my art. Nature, my journeys, different states of mind and recollections all bring a strong impact to my work. Lucky chances which I control emphasise my working and the result is always a mystery. Thank’s to a difficult printing technique my art work is mostly 1/1 unique prints.

Series "La Strada" is a continuum to a "Paths" -series from the year 2003, which was based to the daily walking paths and routes in my home town Jyväskylä. In "La Strada" ambigious routes cut the image to smaller parts. These routes do not connect to any landscape or topography. They can be imagined as well as to Russian steppes or the African Savannah. Some of the blue parts can be taken as a lake. A sharp sighted study of my line can discover human figures or different shapes of familiar objects.

"A Story Teller" -series is originally a work in five parts, where a black winding line continues like a serpentine through out the complete work. Individual parts can be exhibited alone as here. Different beings, like trees or landscapes can be found from these work, too. Varied black line is intensive, getting stronger in the end like a good story does.
